The Lactation Network & Wildflower
We are so excited to be part of The Lactation Network and Wildflower. These organizations help moms and moms to be get the breastfeeding care they need, at zero additional cost. They are essentially a middle man, offering insurance verification services, and a billing service that your consultant will use directly.

The Lactation Network (TLN) guarantees each mother and baby at least six (but usually an unlimited number) of consultations in home or in office with an IBCLC at ZERO OUT OF POCKET cost! They will handle all of the paperwork and bill your insurance directly. This also applies to prenatal breastfeeding education. TLN is essentially a "middle man" company that pays a flat fee to your lactation consultant (LC) and then bills your insurance.
As an independent contractor for TLN, we simply provide the lactation service and are not involved in TLN's insurance billing process. Please reach out directly to TLN for any insurance billing questions: email Care@tln.care

The most common insurances accepted by TLN are Anthem PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, VA CCN, and United Health Care. TLN does not accept HMO plans at this time.

You are fully covered for all visit costs billable to insurance by TLN & Wildflower. There are some charges not billable to insurance (meaning, you are responsible to cover those out of pocket), as outlined below:
-
Home visit travel fee ($25-$50)
-
Products purchased within our office
-
Products we recommend that you purchase outside of our office
-
Cancellation/no show fees

If you have a PPO insurance plan that is NOT Cigna or Aetna, please check your insurance coverage through TLN at this link: https://go.lactationnetwork.com/BloomingBabiesLactationCo

Wildflower is also a 'middle man' company that pays a fee to your lactation consultant and then bills your insurance. Wildflower covers families that have Cigna. If you have CIGNA - check visit eligibility here:

These forms come with no obligation and are a completely free check.
Tricare
We are in network with Tricare, and they typically allow for six visits for each lactating parent.
These visits may be virtual, in person, or in your home. Visits in your home may be subject to an additional fee. Visits through Tricare also cover prenatal education visits.

We will handle all of the billing of your Tricare plan.
Aetna
We are in network with Aetna, and they typically allow for six visits for each lactating parent. These visits may be virtual, in person, or in your home. Visits in your home may be subject to an additional fee. Visits through Aetna also cover prenatal education visits.

We will handle all of the billing of your Aetna plan.
Superbills
We are able to provide you with a printed statement including procedural and diagnosis codes for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, at their discretion. This is commonly done when a client is paying cash for their visit, and are not billing through insurance.

This superbill will outline what you spent at our office and what procedures were performed. Think of this as out of network billing.

This also applies if you will be receiving chiropractic care or craniosacral therapy with your lactation consults. We still do not accept insurance for chiropractic care or craniosacral therapy.
